Quotes:

"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill."

Muhammad Ali

Treatments at Biofeedback Health Services in New York:

Our manual treatment includes soft tissue massage and myofascial release (MR). MR is a very gentle and slow manual treatment that aims for the release of the tight fascia, the oxygenation of the muscles and body structures, and a significant decrease of local tenderness and nerve pain. Biofeedback Health Services (BHS) also performs gentle MR on your scalp and your face.

Our treatment also includes muscle rehabilitation using therapeutic exercises and SEMG to control muscle contraction during functional activities. Our theraoy also include the practice of gentle and progressive self stretches, guided imagery and visualization, heart rate variability training, and diaphragmatic breathing assisted by biofeedback instruments. BHS also use sound meditation (the use of quartz crystal bowls) to treat chronic pain. Our therapists use surface electromyography, or biofeedback technique, as an assessment tool and as training tool.
