June 18th 2009

New data suggests that biofeedback therapy and electrical pelvic floor stimulation quickens recovery periods for patients who have undergone radical prostatectomy.
New data provided by researchers at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy suggests that biofeedback therapy and electrical pelvic floor stimulation quickens recovery periods for patients who have undergone radical prostatectomy, according to several reports.

After studying 60 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy, the researchers concluded: "Early, noninvasive physical treatment with biofeedback and pelvic floor electrical stimulation has a significant positive impact on the early recovery of urinary continence after radical prostatectomy."
